Acceptable Use Policy

Effective March 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of all voice, messaging, and communications services provided by SLINC.co ("SLINC," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of service.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use SLINC services to:

  • Illegal robocalling — Initiate or facilitate automated, prerecorded, or artificial voice calls in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Truth in Caller ID Act, FCC regulations, or any applicable federal, state, or local law.
  • Caller ID spoofing — Transmit misleading or inaccurate caller ID information with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value.
  • Spam and unsolicited messaging — Send unsolicited bulk voice calls, SMS/MMS messages, or faxes, including messages that violate CAN-SPAM, TCPA, or applicable do-not-call regulations.
  • Fraud and deception — Use services for phishing, vishing (voice phishing), social engineering, impersonation, or any scheme to defraud individuals or organizations.
  • Harassment and threats — Make threatening, abusive, harassing, or obscene communications.
  • Illegal activity — Conduct any activity that violates applicable laws, including but not limited to wiretapping, unauthorized surveillance, or trafficking in illegal goods or services.
  • Network abuse — Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with SLINC's network, systems, or other customers' services, including denial-of-service attacks, toll fraud, or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Resale without authorization — Resell, rebrand, or redistribute SLINC services without prior written agreement.

2. Acceptable Use of Services

SLINC services are intended for lawful business communications. Acceptable uses include:

  • Standard inbound and outbound business calling
  • Voicemail, call forwarding, auto-attendants, and IVR systems
  • Conferencing, call recording (with required consent), and collaboration tools
  • SMS/MMS messaging in compliance with carrier guidelines, 10DLC registration, and TCPA requirements
  • AI-assisted call handling and voice agents operating within legal and ethical boundaries

3. Capacity and Abuse Limits

SLINC reserves the right to set reasonable limits on call volume, concurrent sessions, messaging throughput, and bandwidth usage to ensure fair access for all customers and protect the integrity of our network. Usage that significantly exceeds normal business patterns or that degrades service for other customers may be subject to throttling, suspension, or additional charges.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

SLINC may monitor service usage to the extent permitted by law to detect violations of this policy, protect network integrity, and comply with legal obligations. We may, at our sole discretion:

  • Investigate suspected violations of this AUP
  • Remove or block traffic that violates this policy
  • Suspend or terminate service for violations, with or without prior notice depending on severity
  • Report violations to law enforcement or regulatory authorities

5. Service Suspension and Termination

SLINC may immediately suspend or terminate service without notice if we reasonably believe that:

  • Your use violates any law or regulation
  • Your use poses a threat to network security or integrity
  • Your use materially harms or risks harm to other customers or third parties
  • You fail to respond to or remedy a reported violation within a reasonable timeframe

For less severe violations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide an opportunity to cure the violation before taking action.

6. Law Enforcement and Traceback Cooperation

SLINC cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies, the FCC, and industry traceback efforts (including the Industry Traceback Group) to identify and stop illegal calling activity. We will respond promptly to traceback requests, subpoenas, and lawful information requests. SLINC is a registered participant in the FCC's Robocall Mitigation Database.

7. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for all use of services under your account, including use by your employees, agents, contractors, and end users. You agree to take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized use of your account and to promptly notify SLINC of any suspected unauthorized access or security breach.

8. Changes to This Policy

SLINC reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Continued use of services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
