04 — Websites

A website that is kept current, not built once and forgotten.

Most small-business sites were built years ago by someone who has since moved on. We rebuild yours, host it, keep the domain and email records straight, and make changes when you ask.

What we manage

The site, and everything it depends on.

A website is only as good as the domain, DNS and email records behind it. We look after all of it.

The site

Design and build
A fast, professional site built from what you already publish: your services, your hours, your photos, your reviews.
Forms to your inbox
Contact and quote forms that arrive in the right mailbox, with spam filtered out.
Content changes on request
New hours, a new staff member, a new service: send it to us and it is on the site.

Hosting and domain

Hosting and SSL
Served from a global network, with the security certificate kept current.
Domain and DNS
We hold the records straight and make sure the domain renews, registered in your name.
Email deliverability
SPF, DKIM and DMARC records set correctly, so your mail lands in inboxes and your domain is harder to spoof.

How it is run

From the old site to the new one, without a gap.

  1. 01

    We gather

We collect what you already have online, the old site, your listings and photos, and ask what is missing.

  2. 02

    We build

You see the new site on a preview address before anything changes. Nothing is public until you approve it.

  3. 03

    We move it

The domain moves over after hours, with your email records carried across first, so mail never stops.

  4. 04

    We keep it

Hosting, updates and changes continue under the monthly agreement. The site never goes stale.

Questions

Before we start.

Is there a build fee?
Not for clients under management. The site is part of the monthly agreement, like the phones and the network.
Who owns the domain?
You do. It stays registered in your name; we manage the records on your behalf.
What happens to our email?
Nothing, except that it becomes more reliable. We copy your existing mail records before the move and add the ones that are missing.

Start with an assessment

Let’s walk your office.

We map the phones, network, computers and accounts, and hand you a written picture of what you have and what we would change. Then you decide.
