Switching to SLINC

Switching providers. We do the moving.

Most switches stall on paperwork and fear of a dead phone on Monday. We handle both: the porting, the design, the build and the cutover, after you close.

Your part

What you send us.

Four things. The paperwork after that is ours.

  • A recent phone bill. It shows the numbers and the account.
  • The name on the account, and the account PIN or passcode your carrier requires for porting.
  • A list of who answers what, or just show us at the walk-through.
  • Any lines you are unsure about: alarm, fax, elevator, card terminal.

Our part

From walk-through to handover.

  1. 01

    Walk-through

We walk each location and learn how calls and work actually move: who answers what, the hours and holidays, what counts as urgent, and what happens when nobody can pick up.

  2. 02

    Design

A written call-flow map, the hours and holiday schedule, the key layout for every desk, the AI receptionist’s script in your name, and the network the calls ride on.

  3. 03

    Build

Phones configured and labeled for each person, the AI receptionist built into the call flow and tested on a test line, the network prepared for voice.

  4. 04

    Cutover

    After you close.

  5. 05

    Run

    One monthly agreement.

How we fit it

The details

Your numbers, your contract, your phones.

01

Keeping your numbers

Your numbers belong to the business. We file the port with your authorization and schedule the cutover for after you close. The port date is set with the carrier you are leaving, so we confirm it with you in writing before cutover night.

03

Your phones

We provision Yealink phones built for each person, and we can provision most standard SIP desk phones. Tell us what you have and we will tell you what can stay.

The phones we supply

Ask us

Alarm, fax and other copper lines.

Copper phone lines are being retired across Long Island, and alarm panels, fax machines, elevators and card terminals often hide on them. List them at the walk-through and we will lay out the options for each line.

Book a walk-through

Cutover night

The switch happens after you close.

18:00

Nothing moves while you are open. The port date is confirmed with you in writing before the night.

  1. 18:00

    Doors close

Your staff go home. Nothing has moved yet.

  2. 19:00

    Numbers move

The port confirmed in writing goes through, and calls land on the new system.

  3. 21:30

    Every seat test-called

Every route walked, every desk phone called, the hours and the AI receptionist checked.

  4. 07:30

    You open

To phones that already work the way you do.

  5. 08:30

    Morning check-in

We call to confirm the first calls of the day are going where they should.

Questions

Switching, answered.

Can we keep our numbers?
Yes. Your numbers belong to the business. We port them with your authorization and confirm the port date in writing before cutover night.
What if we are in a contract?
Bring it to the walk-through. We read the term, the renewal notice and the exit terms with you and time the switch around them.
Will the phones be down during the switch?
The cutover happens after you close, and every seat is test-called before you open.
Do we have to learn a new system?
No. We build it around how you answer today. When something changes, tell us by a call or an email in plain English and we make the change.
Can we keep our current desk phones?
Often, if they are standard SIP phones. We check them at the walk-through and tell you what can stay.
What do you need from us?
One walk-through, a recent phone bill, and your approval of the written design. We do the rest.

Start with a walk-through

Start the switch with a walk-through.

We map how your calls actually flow, plus the network, computers and accounts, and hand you a written design of what we would build and run. Then you decide.
